Circle K
Circle K International (CKI) is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world. Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus. CKI blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet other college students around the world.

Our partnership with Circle K allows us to promote the ideas and goals of Kiwanis with college students, who relate it to their peers. Our members serve as role models and mentors, encouraging students to help others and our community by setting a positive example.

Terrific Kids
The Kiwanis Club of Tampa supports the Terrific Kids program, which promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. Students in elementary schools work with their teachers to establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance or schoolwork and to reach their goal during a specific time. Students that meet their goals are considered Terrific (Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable).
Our club sponsors the program in seven elementary schools: Dunbar, Foster, Clair-Mel, Just, B.T. Washington, Lockhart Magnet and Edison. The program rewards character development and is very popular with guidance counselors. Once a month, students who meet their goals get recognized as Terrific Kids. Our club provides banners, bumper stickers, Kiwanis stickers, cups and pencils, and a member speaks to the kids and parents and hands out the awards.
